Receptionist cum Admin Assistant

Job Purpose
The person is required to handle all tasks related to the reception including up-keeping of the area. The person is also required to assist the Manager in some administrative functions of the department. 

Major Responsibilities

1. Reception

  • Attend to all incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Greet and provide assistance to walk in customers.
  • Ensure staff attendance records and guest records are duly updated and maintained.
  • Collect, sort, record and liaise with courier for sending and receiving of company documents.
  • Sort all incoming mails and distribute to intended recipients/departments.

2. Administration

  • Data entry, general documentation and filing.
  • Provide administrative support to all departments as required.
  • Keep the reception area well maintained and tidy.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Minimum SPM qualifications preferably with some working experience in an office environment.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good in MS Excel & MS Words.
  • A team player who is pleasant, courteous, presentable, hardworking, high willingness to learn Possess a pleasant personality and good telephone etiquette skills.
  • Knowledge of PABX system is an added advantage.
