Management Trainee - Cinema Operations
Work Location :
Alor Star, Georgetown, Butterworth, Taiping, Sitiawan, Klang, Kuala Lumpur, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Johor Bharu, Skudai, Kuantan and Teluk Intan.
Job Purpose
The person will undergo a structured program to learn and gain exposure to cinema management. Upon completion of the program and good performance, the Trainee will be upgraded to a managerial position in one of our cinema chain.
Major Responsibilities
- Primary role is to participate in training experiences, learn new skills and demonstrate increasing proficiency and ability in managerial skills.
- Assist Cinema Manager in managing the property including box office, concession and administration.
- Assist Cinema Manager in delivering the highest standards of quality and service to our customers.
- Assist Cinema Manager in handling and managing staff matters such as scheduling of duty roster and maintaining staff disciplinary.
- Assist Cinema Manager in implementing company policies/rules/procedures/standards and ensuring compliance to such.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Minimum STPM qualification or equivalent with some working experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply as well.
- Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good in MS Excel and exposure to POS system is an added advantage.
- Customer oriented and goal oriented.
- Willingness to work on shift hours, weekends, public holidays and open to relocation/transfer.
- A team player who is pleasant, approachable, self-motivated, hardworking, high willingness to learn, able to work under pressure and has an eye for details. Good presentation and supervision skills are essential.
