Based in various cinema locations, permanent and part time positions will be created for :

Job Title :
Cashier/Steward

Work Location
Alor Star, Georgetown, Butterworth, Taiping, Sitiawan, Klang, Kuala Lumpur, Kuantan, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Skudai, Johor Bharu and Teluk Intan.  

Job Purpose
To provide Cinema Manager support in handling customers at the box office, concession and reception of the cinema.

Major Responsibilities

1. Cashier & Collection

  • Handle customers’ queries according to Company guidelines and provide assistance as required.
  • Handle daily cash collection from sale of tickets/food & beverages.
  • Check and report total daily collection to Cinema Manager.  
  • Attend to all related matters at the collection/concession counters including maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the area. 

2. Steward & Usher

  • Collect and validate admission ticket from customers.
  • Usher customers to their seats in the cinema.
  • Ensure customers are not breaking Company guidelines such as bringing food and drinks from other outlets, and

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Minimum SPM qualification with credits in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mathematics.
  • Good interaction skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
  • Good in MS Excel and exposure to POS system is an added advantage.
  • Customers oriented and willing to work on shift hours, weekends, public holidays and open to relocation/transfer.
  • A team player who is pleasant, approachable, self-motivated, hardworking, high willingness to learn and has an eye for details.
