Cinema Manager
Job Purpose
Provide good customer service and facilities by managing staff, effective cost controls, and facility maintenance in compliance of policies and procedures.
Major Responsibilities
1. Provide & maintain good customer service
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure overall customer service is consistently delivered.
- Measuring and managing customer relationship continuously.
- Compliance to standard operating procedures.
2. Maintenance of premises and equipments
- To ensure good overall AMC services.
- Periodic inspections and upgrading works.
- Maintaining Security for the customers and workplace.
- Preventive maintenance to prolonging equipment shelf life.
3. Result Orientation
- Planning, monitoring and scheduling staff and part-time staff for optimum output.
- Communicating job expectations to attain results
- Training, coaching, building the spirit of camaraderie and appraising job results to reduce absenteeism and staff turnover.
- Discipline procedures to control poor performance and practices.
4. Reporting and Communication
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly & monthly reports on due dates.
- Analyze weakness and propose corrective actions.
- Sourcing new vendors for price quotes.
5. Financial and KPI Targets
- Prompt daily banking.
- Assist HQ to prepare AOP, expenditures, analyzing variances and corrective action.
- Forecasting admissions and film strength to plan and achieve KPI targets.
6. Cinema Market Share
- Identify customer’s interest
- Initiate own marketing program
- Maximizing display, trailers and shows for exposure.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Review and updating SOP periodically
- Identify new methods of doing things better and faster.
8. Contribute To Team Effort
- Performing any other duties and responsibility that may be assigned by the Company.
- Feedback and contribution that improve the overall performance of the Company.
Knowledge, Skills and Physical Requirements
- Minimum STP/STPM/Diploma or higher qualifications or 2 years working experience in a similar capacity preferably in a Cinema or F&B Management
- Applicants preferably below 35 years.
- Good analytical skills
- Good communication (spoken & written) skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Good hearing and hand-eye co-ordination.
- Physically & medically fit.
- A team player who is pleasant, approachable, hardworking, high willingness to learn, have an eye for details and good interaction skills.
- Able to work under pressure with multiple tasks/assignments to be completed within the same deadline and willing to put in longer working hours when required.
- Leadership capabilities to lead a group of subordinates.
