Today, Salman Khan starrer Veer releases in theatres. The movie is a take on battle for honor in the pre-independence era against the British and those that allied with them....
Veer (Salman Khan) is the valiant of all the Pindhari warriors and is out fighting to regain his father Prithvi Singh’s lost honor.
At the same time our hero has to put up a front against the sly King of Madhavgarh (Jackie Shroff). Meantime Veer falls for Princess Yashodhara (Zarine Khan) who happens to be the Princess of Madhavgarh.
Now an intense battle rages for honor and love where there is no room for cowardice or error. Salman Khan’s performance as a brave warrior is appealing. Debutant Zarine Khan makes a pretty sight but still has to go a long way in acting.
The sets and costumes are magnificent and elaborate. On the whole, a decent flick.
